This Privacy Policy explains how Capiverso processes personal data in its gamified learning ecosystem.
The controller of personal data is ROCKS TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMACAO LTDA, Brazilian taxpayer number (CNPJ) 41.556.544/0001-11, established in Brazil. For questions, rights requests, or privacy matters, write to [email protected].
We collect your email, device identifiers, basic profile information (such as your chosen name and age group), friendship connections, subscription statuses and transaction IDs (for premium purchase validation), learning progress history, message content in chat rooms and direct messages, and homework files (such as photos, audios, and text submitted to Teacher Mia). We recommend not uploading photos containing sensitive personal data like documents or faces.
We use your data to authenticate your account, enable social features (chat rooms, direct messages, friend connections, and VoIP calls), provide learning experiences and support, process homework when you request that feature, verify premium purchases, and protect the service from abuse.
Text and audio messages exchanged with friends or in rooms are stored on our servers. They are subject to user reports and team moderation to maintain a safe environment.
Optional analytics and advertising measurement load only after your choice. Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta may receive visit and action events, cookies, IP address and browser information. Our explicit events exclude message contents, email addresses and login tokens. Your choice is saved in this browser for up to 180 days and can be changed through Privacy choices. Revoking permission stops further measurement and reloads the page to remove the trackers. Separately, Capiverso records campaign parameters, click identifiers and the referring website domain from your arrival, when available, in its own database regardless of these choices, and associates that origin with an account created in this browser.
We do not sell personal data. The infrastructure includes Cloudflare R2 for object storage and Cloudflare network-protection services; Apple for the App Store, Sign in with Apple, purchases, and Apple notifications; and components operated in Capiverso infrastructure, such as the database, observability, and language services. Data is shared only when necessary for the relevant function. This policy will be updated before a material change in recipients or purposes.
Features such as Teacher Mia, translation, transcription, correction, and speech synthesis may process submitted text, homework photos, audio, and the minimum context needed to respond. Capiverso architecture provides for these services in its own infrastructure. This policy does not identify an external commercial AI provider receiving user content; if that changes, we will identify the provider, data sent, retention, and purpose before the material change. Content must not be used to train models without specific notice and the applicable legal basis or consent. Human review may occur only for support, security, moderation, or report investigation.
We keep account, profile, and progress data for as long as needed to provide the service and while the account is active. Messages, audio, homework files, reports, moderation records, technical logs, and transaction records are retained only as needed for their purposes, security, fraud prevention, and applicable legal obligations. Specific operational periods, including backup periods, are still being formalized and are not stated here as definitive periods.
You may request deletion of your account and data through the app, when that option is available, or at [email protected]. Deletion is permanent in the primary database when completed; technical copies may remain temporarily in backups until their replacement cycle. Content already sent to other users, report evidence, security records, and data required by law may be kept only to the extent necessary. We will communicate the request status and completion through the contact channel.
You may request confirmation of processing and access to data; correction; anonymization, blocking, or deletion when applicable; information about sharing; withdrawal of consent; portability when applicable; and review of automated decisions affecting your interests. Capiverso may be used by children and teenagers and processes their data in their best interests. Chats, calls, and social connections include moderation, reporting, and blocking features. The minimum age, age-verification method, and parent or guardian consent flow will be formalized before being presented as definitive rules. We do not use children’s or teenagers’ data for behavioural advertising.
Some infrastructure, network, and Apple services may process data outside Brazil. When an international transfer occurs, we seek to limit data to what is necessary and adopt technical and organisational measures compatible with the LGPD and the nature of the service.
We use access controls, authentication, network protection, monitoring, and security measures to reduce risks. No system is completely secure. If a relevant incident affects personal data, we will assess its impact and take the containment, investigation, and notice measures required by applicable law.
